I really got into mac computers a couple years back. I had been using the same Gateway desktop for six years straight. It was basically my college computer. I used it for everything from writing term papers, to researching literature, to just plain surfing the web. It was a good computer overall. However, it was high time for a change. For one, my Gateway was rather slow since it was from 98. This drove me nuts at times. You’d think that everything would be fast with cable high-speed connection. Anyway, I began looking into mac computers. A friend of mine at school had a Mac Powerbook, and he suggested that I give mac computers a shot. He showed me how the Powerbook worked and I must admit that I liked it. It was different than a standard PC. I had always wondered what the differences were. I loved the fact that there was only one button with the mouse. Now it was off to the Mac store. In no time at all I was hooked on the Mac G4 IBook. I was stoked after getting my student discount and testing out my new machine.
There are numerous mac computers to choose from these days. If you simply hop online, you can discover the variety. I love some of the added features this year. I noticed that magnets are used to hold the notebooks shut and for the power cables. Heck, you can even get a black Mac notebook now. That baby looks sweet.
