Red Ink Cartridge

My printer does not print red ink in the cartridge?

The printer is an HP Vivera Photosmart C4180, but it is probably no difference. I just installed the ink cartridge and three color will not print red. Do not mix with other colors to purple or pink. Ideas? I took a couple of times to verify that 3 or 4 pages of evidence over 2 hours just in case the ink was established, but did not. Also, make – Click cleaning "cartridge" into the printer and no luck. Other ideas? maybe red ink in the cartridge to be bad or dry? The printer prints perfectly blue and yellow. It also has a new cartridge black and works well. They need help in the red

This is my advice: First step: Run the utility print cartridges 1. Click the Settings button. 2. Press the down arrow. 3. Select Clean Print Cartridge, then press OK. The machine prints a test page. 4. Examine the test page. If the print quality of the page is good, stop here. If print quality is bad, go to the next step for cleaning. 5. Open the toolbox to the printer. There are two ways to do this: * Open the HP Solution Center, select Setup menu, then submenu print settings, and finally, the toolbox of the printer. * Open the Printers and Faxes Windows Control Panel, then right click on the printer icon and select Properties. Click Printing Preferences. Click the Features tab, then click Printer Services. 6. The toolkit opens the printer. Tab Device Services, Cartridges click Clean Print, then follow the instructions on the screen. Up to three levels of cleaning are available. Discard or recycle the page that is printed. Step Two: Replace the problem cartridge (which may have a defective cartridge) If a cartridge replacement was not tried previously to solve this problem, replace the problem cartridge now Causes and Prevention Mixing color is usually caused by contact with the nozzle material. Ink can wick along the materials and trip end nozzle. When mixing different colors of ink in this way, the result is muddy, inaccurate colors. Missing colors occur when the cartridge nozzles dry out, or if a color is exhausted because the specific printing requirements. * Do not remove the protective strip of new print cartridge just before installing. Once you remove the tape, not to apply. * After removing the protective, do not touch anything nozzles. * Print at least once a month to keep the print cartridges good working order. * Always turn off printer by pressing the button on the control panel of the printer rather than unplugging the printer.
