Wireless USB extension?

I know there are USB cable connections, but I was wondering if there is a way to connect anything via the USB port without having to be connected to it? I wonder because I have a TV tuner and an external hard drive for my laptop, but I can go sit on the couch with him and watch TV at least leave my laptop on my desk. I thought she might have a device IR or something I could use to connect the two things to my computer via infrared or Bluetooth, or something instead of having to have a long USB extension cable to connect to them. My laptop is not Bluetooth compatible, but they really have a Bluetooth adapter that I use to install something on my phone, and an extension of USB Bluetooth or something like that works very well with my adapter. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No honey, if a cable is not wireless, unless you connect a router to a receiver on your supplier Internet, but it would be wireless. You can go to Best Buy or at a place like this and ask, I'm sure he knows, but I know a lot on computers and I say no! Could you please, please, please check out this pretty silly! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071021220828AAoLWJU&pa=FYd1D2bwHTHwLblmFuM8Qc0t7JNhXv.rsIBw8MeO0B88Mg–&paid=asked&msgr_status = Now, if you want to laugh a little _ylt? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; = AvVvVyAhBUIP.mwO9fkVlwvsy6IX; = 20071018132753AANwXii http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; _ylv _ylt = 3? qid = Ahr_7cA5wN857po8jyo1kjfsy6IX; _ylv = 3? qid = 20071016184302AAgOa35 http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; _ylt = Ajv81jy97iVP3H_BKH2wLHTsy6IX; _ylv = 3? qid = 20071018001603AASEGxb
