Mac Pro Dual Xeon workstation memory than Apple?
Has anyone installed a DIMM vendor other than Apple's Mac Pro?'m looking to upgrade, but at the price of Apple seems to be 40% higher than those of other manufacturers (except for the heat sink Thingee). There are already 4 GB RAM Apple wants to double. (I do a lot of High-Def After work and 3D effects) BTW also run both Windows XP and Mac OS X – with the most work in XP now.
I threw in 2 DIMMs non-Apple Go … sweet! DIMM DIMM good good! bad DIMM suck! Buy a good brand of company guarantees the equipment!
